Artist's Comments
This is a wooden carving that hangs over my toilet bowl and I refer to it as my Thai god of chilli revenge.
I was playing about with a new Canon G10 learning the controls and how it responds. I liked how the area covered by the internal flash steps off when the camera is set to wide angle and the subject is close. I also liked the way the camera saturated the reds and decided to muck about a bit. Sometimes it's fun to play with a camera and not concentrate too much on the final result, just see what comes out. Right brain at play. |
